The Huawei P50 will still use the Kirin 9000 chip and OLED screens

Huawei released the Huawei Mate 40 and announced the Huawei P Series, which is expected to be launched in the first half of next year around March to April.

The Elec reports that Samsung and LG will manufacture Huawei’s OLED screens, both of which have received a commercial license from the US government since October.

It is reported that the Huawei P50 will use the Kirin 9000 processor chip developed by Huawei or HiSilicon itself, which is normal for the new flagship chip to be released with the Huawei Mate Series and will continue to be used with the P Series smartphones. Although it was previously rumored that the Kirin 9000 was inadequate for Huawei’s smartphones, the closing of the Honor deal would have given Huawei to some degree the chip. I have to wait and see if TSMC will return to produce chips for Huawei or not.

However, Qualcomm has told the media that the company has been licensed to trade with Huawei, but at this time it is not clear what Snapdragon chips will be chosen by Huawei for which smartphones. Or maybe is also possible that it can be divided into a model sold in China using Kirin, a model that is sold worldwide with a Snapdragon
